TACOCRAFT TAQUERIA AND TEQUILA BAR: GREAT RESTAURANT OPENS FIRST IN CORNERSTONE DOWNTOWN CORAL SPRINGS .

Coral Springs, FL, August 12, 2024:  An Upscale Restaurant  ” Boca Style” has opened in Coral Springs .  TACOCRAFT Taqueria and Tequila Bar will be the #1 trending meeting place.

I was always skeptical about whether the City of Coral Springs could deliver on its promise of a vibrant downtown area.

The Downtown Complex didn’t start well several years ago with a poorly situated building closer to the street than the lampposts at the southwest corner of Sample and University. The people involved walked a tightrope with money issues. They were local developers with access to certain city commissioners who bent over backwards to accommodate them. Unfortunately, the downtown Coral Springs development went south, and I had little hope for the promises to make Coral Springs Downtown akin to Mizner Park.

Then MillCreek came up with Cornerstone Downtown Coral Springs , with owners Predesco Property Investments, LLC.  Described  ” a luxury mixed-use apartment community located in the heart of vibrant Coral Springs ” , a real developer instead of amateurs had come along.  Millcreek residential developers have properties nationwide and aimed to bring their charm to our city.

I wondered if they could deliver. The apartments in phase one were developed, and phase two has begun – When  will  the  restaurants and stores in the complex appear? How can they be sure?

Enter Tacocraft, a Taqueria and Tequila Bar.  the first restaurant and tenant to open in Modera.

Now, I know Downtown Coral Springs is for real.

It’s not just that a restaurant finally opened its doors last week; it’s the feeling you get when you’re at Tacocraft,  that this is an oasis within the city, unlike any other restaurant before. It feels like we’ve finally achieved something akin to Mizner Park in Boca Raton. Apart from a few restaurants in our city, Tacocraft has actually invested in furnishings and interior design.  Gorgeous interior and very well planned out.

Clearly, they conducted an extensive market study and understood that what Coral Springs lacked was a bar on the street and an upscale, classy interior.

Tacocraft excels in providing a unique dining experience. They boast an impressive margarita list with over 130 tequila and mezcal choices. They even offer Patrón Gran Burdeos at $110 per shot! Move over, Pappy Van Winkle.

Tacocraft’s extensive menu offers a great selection of different taco combinations. And they don’t stop there; they have steak and, of course, fajitas with their own cheese topping. Even more impressive is their Keto option for those on low-sugar diets – the lettuce-wrapped tacos.

The entire staff is well-trained. One week after opening, I was pleasantly surprised to see how well-organized the kitchen was, with food prepared on time. The runners handled the deliveries, while the servers, like Melissa, a Coral Springs resident, were professional and knowledgeable about the menu offerings.

The place was buzzing. There’s no doubt this will be the central meeting place in Coral Springs.
