Coral Springs Restaurant Violations – Dirty Dining ? Online Search Available to Find Out.

There are a lot of restaurants in Coral Springs and until now , there was no way of finding out which ones have violations worth noting, and maybe…just maybe the restaurant you think is the best, might be the worst – failing health inspections from the State of Florida.

One of the Sushi Restaurants I frequent on Sample Road will not see me there anymore do to finding out how they faired at the latest inspection. I don’t care how good the Sushi is, I don’t appreciate that they were written up due to too many live and dead cockroaches seen by the inspector. Then they have a problem as well with handling food including serving raw fish without parasite treatment ( which means freezing the fish for a few days before serving). In fact reading the April 2019 inspection report made me sick thinking that I thought this was the best place for Sushi in town. They could have made sure that no cockroaches were in the place, especially near the Sushi bar. Click here for direct link to the April 10th report or click here for the April 9th report.

When checking for the restaurant violations you will notice that there are some violations that you may not considered major- or at least acceptable, like cell phone handled by a server or an outside door that does not close completely. However when it comes to cockroaches, or handling of raw fish – sorry – it’s something that anyone would call serious. The health and safety of the patrons of any restaurant should NEVER be taken for granted.

Some restaurants in Coral Springs really do take health and safety inspections seriously. When doing the search you will find that if they took care of the violation promptly no further action was required by the inspector. However, if you see Admin action to be taken , they ignored the inspection ( and your health ) and they are being fined. The severity of the fine is indicative of the seriousness of the violation.

Almost all restaurants get written up for one violation or another, and the type of violation may change from inspector to inspector. However it is up to you to decide which type of violation will prevent you from eating at any particular restaurant.

It is important to point out where health violations are taking place in the hope that either the establishment will get their act together or patrons will decide to bring their eating experience to restaurants that take your health seriously.

Have a look – or if you have a weak stomach have someone else look for you 🙂 A restaurant with repeated violations that takes little or no regard for your health and safety is not a place you want to trust with your health.
