Child’s Death Ruled Homicide By Broward County Medical Examiner

Alleges Mother Admits Giving 4 Year old Adult Sleeping Medication Lunesta

On September 10, 2009, 4-year-old Nicholas Odze’s father,  Allan Odze , found the tot in his bed unresponsive and not breathing.  Nicolas was transported to Coral Springs Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating this case as a homicide as a result of the Medical Examiner’s findings and statements that Nicholas’ mother, Raisa Bernabe gave him the adult prescription Lunesta to make him go to sleep.  ( Full Examiner’s Report Click Here )  .
