Car Rolls Over: Seat Belts Save Lives

Police constantly tell us that wearing your seat belt may save your life someday. Ask the occupants of this vehicle if they agree or disagree. The Ford Escort was going southbound on Coral Ridge Drive and the pick up truck was heading west. Apparently, one of these two drivers went through a red light.  The truck struck the Escort hard causing it to roll over on it’s roof.   The driver of the upside down vehicle and its passengers walked away from this accident, with only minor scrapes and bruises. Fire at Sugar Mills Apartments Quickly Extinguished

Engine 80 Arrives at the Scene, starts to fight the fire. Smoke can be seen on the 3rd floor At 10:15 in the morning, the fire department was called to a  fire at  Sugar Mills Apartments, 9900 Riverside Drive.  Apparently, a Peruvian guest, his first time in this country was  staying in an apartment on the third floor of the building. He was trying to cook his breakfast.  Confused on the workings of the stove , he turned all of the controls to the ‘on’ position. Gas Prices in Coral Springs: The Big Rip Off!

The cost of property per square foot in Coral Springs is about the same in the North or South parts of the city, so then why is the price of gas different? For that matter, why is the price of gas different in this city even if it’s the same company?   Take Shell for instance, its price for regular gas is $1.49 at their Coral Ridge and Sawgrass Expressway station, but it’s $1.65 at their Riverside and Sample location.
