FOUND LOST DRONE – GOES BY THE NAME OF CANKETEC – SPEAKS CHINESE

I  found drone in our backyard this week going by the name of Canketec.  It has grey markings , and is missing one of it’s eyes that fit on top of the drone. One of its wings is damaged and it’s lithium battery has swelled a little.

We have given it a few aspirins to lower the swelling and put a bandaid on its wing.  We woke it up by pressing its button located at the top and it quickly made a chirping sound ….just like a bird.

It’s lights lit up just for a few seconds as the battery went dead.  I did feed it by pluggin in the battery USB port to 5V DC.  Took a full charge !   Now it wakes up, beeps , and lights start flashing.  I think it is happy to be alive!

It is a shame though.

Poor Canketec drone.

I am sure it wants to go back home.  Where is home ?   Can’t be too far as it does not have enough power to fly more than a few minutes. Maybe it came from the Air BnB beside me.  Their owner has parties all the time, launches fireworks, and perhaps launched this drone to spy on me since I complained to the Coral Springs Police department.

Two days ago they knocked on my door at 1:30 am in the morning thinking I was the Air BNB located at 4080 NW 100th Ave.  I was scared.  They told me that there was a man in an orange cap walking up and down the street and someone complained and called the police.  Was not me. I was sleeping.

I did tell that maybe the lost drone came from next door too. You think they could have taken it off my hands ?

No.

They only  are going after Air BNB people with orange hats.  Coral Springs Police Department refused to  fill out a police report for the lost drone. They laughed at me.  They said that they cannot be wasting their time since they have real police work to do.

I think baby drone  is lost or it’s master simply abandoned it.   Can you imagine someone simply throwing away its drone as if it were a simple toy ?  Perhaps it flew away after realizing it was no longer  under the control of its master .

I called ICE.  They do not want to have anything to do with it.

Wrong color.

Chinese is not what they are going after.

They did tell me that it has a lot of cousins around the country.   They asked me to send them a picture in case it is an illegal alien or it become the color of the month to go after. They told me to keep this quiet.  I will. I know that no one likes Canadian Immigrants , even though they are naturalized citizens.  Something about “they don’t want to sell us their country”.

I can’t believe no one cares about this lost drone. Don’t  they have rights too ?

I contacted the SPCA.  They said they do not take in stray drones.  Besides they told me, that if no one claims this drone, they simply would put it out in the garbage.  ” It’s the only humane thing to do”  , they said .

I checked online with ChatGBT, and it told me that the Canketec is sold on Amazon   for $99.  I check it out and bought one for my own and maybe the lost Cankectec will be happier with its cousin.  Maybe they will play together while it waits for its master to claim it .

I will not put in the garbage.  I am after all, a human being.

However, we simply can’t allow these Drones to go where they want to go.  We have rules…don’t we ?
