CORAL SPRING'S NATURE PAGE
To the west of Coral Springs, Florida lies one of the world's largest natural habitation to wildlife and plants, the Florida Everglades. Given our proximity to this natural park, and our tropical weather, exotic and native trees and bushes find there home in Coral Springs (also with a lot of help from the city landscape code and citizens ). It is the intent of this webpage to display the plants and flowers that lie within our city boundaries. Most of the pictures that you will find here are from plants located in the gardens of local residents, commercial buildings or at many of the city parks.

 Hibiscus!

Yellow Tab: Blossoms in the Spring time seen here during the month of March. This awesome picture was taken in the Bitterroot National Forest in Montana on August 6, 2000 by a fire behavior analyst from Fairbanks, Alaska. John McColgan took the shot with a digital camera. Since he was working while he took the picture, he cannot sell or profit from it so he should at least be recognized as the photographer of this once in a lifetime shot.
